Experience

I have completed two student teaching placements in the general education and the special education settings. I have worked for several years as a substitute in a variety of special education programs for BOCES from preschool to 12th grade. These experiences have given me an insight into working with students in a variety of settings and ability levels that are valuable to me as a tutor. Regarding tutoring music, I have been playing piano since I was 5 years old. I took 11 years of lessons and am currently enrolled in a piano lesson at the college level. In addition, I am CPR and First Aid certified.
