I have no formal tutoring experience, but have informally held study sessions for classmates. I scored a 1290 on my SAT and graduated high school with a 94 average. I want to be a tutor because I enjoy teaching and sharing the knowledge I've worked hard to gain. I believe that by teaching others, I strengthen my own academic abilities. I've participated in Americorps which allowed me to work with and educate youth.
